Yesterday I finished the Black Cat manga, and I’m both happy and sad that it is finished. I watched a few of the animes and they do not even come close to how good the manga is, it’s an injustice. Other than Absolute Boyfriend this is my first manga series that I’ve finished. I have read read all the way through One Piece, and Bleach and I’m waiting till the other volumes come out but still, I have not finished them. Yet I digress, why did I like this manga so much?
The Characters
Sven is such a ladies man…kinda. If there is anything that I can take from him it’s how to be a gentleman.
I wanted to list Eve under Sven but I don’t have much to say about her, although I have nothing against her, I never really felt her as a character.
A carefree way of life is it? Yes, that is what it is. Any women that can change the mind of one of the deadliest assassins there ever was to take on a carefree life and stop killing is OK in my book.
Simply because he is the worst ladies man :)
There are many more characters, but I wanted to get into
Train Heartnet
Yes, I know I read the manga and did not watch the anime, but still, I like this picture. Train to me is about the best a person can be. As much as I love tales of friendship(One Piece) I can’t help but feel Train is the most real. He was a bad person, then he became a good person due to the influence of another person. He looks out for friends and he won’t kill his enemies, because everyone deserves a second chance, and he helps out complete strangers. Yes he is not real, but that does not mean that his ideas can’t be real.
So was it really only the characters that made this manga so good? In a sense, yes, I still like the story, but if the characters were not so well made, I’m sure I would not have made it through this manga.
If you get the chance, check this one out, it is only 20 books and you fly through them.
Ive gotta say though that Manga were alsways seen as an affordable medium compared to Anime.Reading that stuff on a computer screen sucks aswell ^^
Hey I was wondering who this manga is targeting, I’ve been wanting to start reading for about two years now but i’ve been through so many mangas that just rolled on forever or were much younger than i thought, I dont want to start another silly series, so tell me what you think!
